Maple Grove Boys Lacrosse Edges Breck in Section Tournament
The Maple Grove boys lacrosse team held off Breck for a 6-5 win in the Section 5 quarterfinals.
Maple Grove scored with two seconds left in the first half to take a 5-2 halftime lead.
They built the lead to 6-2 before a Breck rally pulled the Mustangs within a goal in the fourth quarter.
The Crimson held on to advance to the semifinals.
Third seed Maple Grove faces second seed Blake Monday.
