Maple Grove Boys Basketball Wins Another Thriller Over Wayzata
The Maple Grove boys basketball team took down Wayzata for the second time this season – this time on the road in a 62-57 win.
Max Iversen poured in 30 points, including the game-winning layup with under thirty seconds to play. Jack Thelen added 14 for Maple Grove.
Nolen Anderson had a big night, scoring a game-high 27 points for the Trojans.
Christian Wiggins and Max Beeninga were the other two Trojans in double figures, scoring 12 and 11 points.
The Crimson are now 13-6 (6-3) on the season and Wayzata drops to 18-3 (8-2).
