Maple Grove Baseball Wins Thriller
The Maple Grove baseball won a thriller, edging Anoka 5-4 Tuesday.
A four-run third inning put Anoka ahead 4-1 before the Crimson rally started.
Maple Grove tied the game in the fifth inning.
In the bottom of the seventh, Jeremy Klick’s base hit scored Dylan Peck with the winning run.
Peck pitched the first six innings for Maple Grove, with Frank Volkers pitching a scoreless seventh for the win.
