Maple Grove American Legion Players Missing Out this Summer
The Maple Grove American Legion baseball players are missing out on what they thought would be a promising summer.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of the entire Legion season.
Maple Grove had nine seniors and eleven returning players in all.
After the high school baseball season was canceled, the Maple Grove players thought they’d at least get summer baseball.
That’s until last weekend’s announcement that all Legion teams would be sidelined.
