Local Runners Take Top Spots at Osseo Invitational
The Osseo boys and girls each won team titles at the 18-team Osseo Invitational cross country meet Thursday.
The Orioles’ girls team won a tiebreaker with Providence Academy to finish first.
The Orioles boys finished four team points of the runner-up Northwest Nighthawks.
Naomi Dybvig of Armstrong was the girls varsity race winner in 19 minutes, 46 seconds.
Park Center’s Blake Beaver won the boys race in 16:32, just ahead of teammate Jackson Browers.
Osseo’s top finishers were Ashley Damsgard in 11th place in the girls race and Raleigh Rundquist in 9th place of the boys meet.
