Hopkins Baseball Shuts Out Osseo
The Hopkins baseball team won its fourth straight game, shutting out Osseo 3-0 Monday night.
Starting pitcher Sajan Chesson worked four scoreless innings and reliever Aaron Aune finished with three good innings for the shutout.
Hopkins scored an unearned run in the top of the first inning.
They added two more in the sixth, as Jack Mausser and Maddox Mihalakis started the inning with back-to-back doubles.
Mihalakis later scored on a passed ball for a 3-0 lead.
Hopkins is now 9-3 with the win. Osseo dropped to 8-6.
