Holy Angels Baseball Rallies To Beat Park Center/Columbia Heights/Maranatha
The Park Center/Columbia Heights/Maranatha Christian baseball team got out to a 5-1 lead on Holy Angels, but couldn’t hold on and fell by a score of 7-6 in a match-up of the top two teams in the Tri-Metro Conference.
The Pirates scored five total runs in the bottom of the fourth, including an RBI triple from Adam Aasen.
The Stars responded in the top of the sixth with six runs scored, highlights by a bases-clearing single from Cole Cheeseman.
The Pirates had the tying run and go-ahead run at third and second in the bottom of the seventh, but Joe Acker struck out Cullen O’Rourke to end the ball game.
PC/CH/MCA is now 10-5 on the season, while Holy Angels advances to 12-2.
