Heritage Christian Academy Boys Basketball Loses in Class A Quarterfinals
The Heritage Christian Academy boys basketball team lost its quarterfinal round game in the state Class A tournament Thursday, falling 64-53 to West Central Area.
The Eagles fell behind by 16 points at halftime before rallying to within two points with just over five minutes to play in the game.
However, the Knights finished the game on an 11-2 scoring run to close out the game.
Camden Anderson scored 23 points and Bryce Kjesbo 16 to lead West Central.
Griffin Booms and Owen Haag each scored 11 to top the Eagles in scoring.
Heritage (22-8) won its consolation semifinal game Friday afternoon and will play Russell-Tyler-Ruthton for fifth place on Saturday.
