The Heritage Christian Academy boys basketball team lost a close game to conference opponent Legacy Christian Academy, 80-74.
The Eagles led at halftime 44-40, but were outscored by 10 in the second half.
Four players scored in double-figures for HCA, led by Owen Haag’s 17 points. Jonah Moulton put up 16 points, Abu Tarawallie added 15, and Josh Sokeye chipped in 11.
The Lions were paced by Solomon Kardell, who scored a game-high 20 points. The Eagles drop to 14-4 and 8-2 in the MCAA with the loss. Legacy Christian Academy is now 17-3 and 9-1 in conference play.
