Hamline Elite Meet Highlights
The Hamline Elite Meet track and field competition featured some strong performances from northwest suburban athletes.
Evan Hull of Maple Grove won the 200 meters and placed second in the 100 meters.
The Hopkins boys 4 x 100 relay team set a new state record of 41.35 seconds.
Ty Bennett, Jaylen Champion, George Jackson, and Joe Fahnbulleh made up the Royals’ relay.
Jackson won the 110 hurdles as well.
Hopkins also won the 4×400 and 4x 800 relays, too.
