Granite City Classic Returns With Record Number of Teams
A record 70 boys and girls varsity basketball teams are scheduled to play Wednesday and Thursday at the Granite City Classic in the St. Cloud area.
The event has taken place annually for several years with the exception of 2020 when there were no holiday tournaments because of Covid-19.
The Classic, sponsored by Breakdown Sports, is believed to be the largest high school holiday tournament in the country.
A total of six venues in and around the St. Cloud area will be used for games.
