Cooper Girls Basketball Team Beats BSM
The Cooper girls basketball team beat Benilde-St. Margaret’s 62-52 Friday night.
The Hawks jumped out to a 31-20 halftime lead over the Red Knights.
The Red Knights stayed within striking distance for much of the second half but never closed the gap.
Meme Wheeler scored 25 points and Andrea Tribble 23 to lead Cooper.
Olivia Olson had 19 to lead Benilde.
Cooper added a win over District 281 rival Armstrong Saturday to improve to 11-2.
