Cooper Football Beats Rival Armstrong
The Cooper football team beat rival Armstrong to stay undefeated.
The Hawks beat their Robbinsdale District 281 rival 42-34 Friday evening at Armstrong.
It’s the fourth straight season that Cooper has defeated Armstrong.
Nascier Borden rushed for 143 yards and two touchdowns for Cooper.
Trashawn McMillan threw for 308 yards and four touchdowns for the Hawks.
Pedro Amoussou caught nine passes for 139 yards and two touchdowns.
Adrian Adams caught two passes for 113 yards and a touchdown for Cooper.
Sean O’Driscoll and Jake Breitbach each rushed for more than 100 yards for Armstrong.
