Cooper Boys Basketball Falls to Benilde-St. Margaret’s
The Cooper boys basketball team fell to Benilde-St. Margaret’s 71-67 Tuesday night.
That’s after Cooper had won the first meeting with BSM by the same four-point margin.
An 11-0 run late in the first half helped Benilde to a 30-24 halftime lead.
They widened the gap early in the second half and went up by 17 points at 43-26.
Cooper chipped away at the lead and pulled within two late in the game before BSM closed out the win.
Ryan Warren had 18 points and Jalen Wilson 14 for the Red Knights.
Prince Appiah scored 20 points and Davion Evans 16 for Cooper.
Both teams have one game remaining in the regular season.
