# 1 Benilde-St. Margaret’s Edges # 2 Orono in Boys Basketball
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s boys basketball team beat Orono 76-72 Thursday night in a match-up of the top two-ranked teams in Class AAA.
Jaleel Donley’s driving lay-up with just over 30 seconds to play broke a 72-all tie.
Milton Nuahn added two free throws in the final seconds to seal the win.
The Red Knights (14-1) are ranked first in AAA and are now alone in first place in the Metro West Conference, just ahead of the Spartans.
Jaleel Donley scored 19 points, TJ Stuttley 17 and Jalen Wilson 12 for the Red Knights.
All-state guard Nolan Groves netted 45 points for Orono.
BSM (14-1) hosts Holy Angels Saturday at noon.
