Cooper Baseball Rallies Past Park Center
The Cooper and Park Center baseball teams have had tough seasons this spring, but they played an entertaining game Friday.
Cooper rallied for a 6-4 victory for their third win of the season.
Park Center scored single runs in the first and second innings to take a 2-0 lead.
After being held hitless through the first three innings, Cooper’s Elijah Enna pounded a run-scoring double in the fourth.
Cooper added two more runs to take a 3-2 lead.
Park Center answered with single runs in the fifth and sixth innings to go back in front 4-3.
Cooper’s three-run sixth proved to be decisive.
Parker Rislove pitched a complete game and also drove in the go-ahead runs with a sixth-inning single.
Both teams are in section play this week.
