Champlin Park Grad Wright Reaches New Heights in Pac-12
University of Colorado guard McKinley Wright set a milestone last week.
The 2017 Champlin Park High School graduate became the first player in the history of the Pac-12 Conference to surpass 1600 points, 600 assists and 600 rebounds in a career.
Wright grabbed his 600th rebound in the Buffaloes’ recent a game against California.
The senior is averaging 14 points and six assists per game for a Colorado team with a 16-6 record.
In 2020 he declared for, and then withdrew his name, from the NBA Draft. He’s projected to be a second-round pick in the 2021 Draft.
