Champlin Park Girls Tennis Sweeps Coon Rapids in Section 5AA Play
The Champlin Park girls tennis team swept Coon Rapids 7-0 in second round play in the Section 5AA team tournament Wednesday.
The Rebels won in straight sets in all but the second doubles match, where the Cardinals took the first set.
Sixth seed Champlin Park now faces third seed Rogers in the quarterfinals Thursday afternoon.
Top two seeds Wayzata and Maple Grove will play their first matches in the quarterfinals Thursday as well.
