Champlin Park Girls Tennis Falls to Buffalo in Section 5AA
The Champlin Park girls tennis team fell to Buffalo 5-2 in the Section 5AA team quarterfinals.
The Rebels were the second seed after a strong regular season but seventh seed Buffalo faced a tougher schedule in the Lake Conference.
Champlin Park earned wins at #3 and #4 singles, with the Bison prevailing in the rest of the matches.
Buffalo now meets third seed Delano in the semifinals Monday, while top seed Wayzata faces Maple Grove in the other semifinal.
Those matches are at the Rogers Tennis Club.
