Champlin Park Football Team Edges Totino-Grace
The Champlin Park football team edged Totino-Grace 12-7 Friday night.
It was a matchup of two top 10 teams.
Champlin Park opened the scoring on a 64-yard catch and run by Brock Johnson from Jaice Miller.
The Eagles scored in the second quarter on a Deezwin Cooper run to take a 7-6 lead.
In the fourth quarter, Miller threw downfield and Johnson hauled it in between two defenders at the two yard line.
It set up Miller’s go ahead touchdown run on a night mostly dominated by defense.
