Champlin Park Football Falls to STMA
In a game that spanned 72 hours, the Champlin Park football team lost to St. Michael-Albertville 29-18, dropping the Rebels to 2-3 on the season.
The teams played the first half on Friday night before heavy storms moved through the Twin Cities.
The game was delayed for three hours on Friday and then finally postponed to Monday afternoon.
STMA (2-3) outscored the Rebels 15-6 in the first half and 14-12 in the second half. Knights’ running back
Ryan Kaydea ran for three scores while Rebels’ quarterback Preston Thielke ran for a touchdown and threw for another score in the loss.
