Champlin Park Boys Basketball Opens Season with 87-80 Win over Irondale

In their season opener, the Champlin Park boys basketball team rallied in the second half and defeated Irondale, 87-80.

The Rebels led by three at halftime and Irondale went on a run early in the second half, leading by as much as three points, but Champlin Park answered with several forced turnovers leading to fast-break points.

Tyler Wagner led the way for the Rebels, scoring 30 points.

Kwa Silikpoh and Preston Thielke also stepped up and scored in double figures for Champlin Park.
