Champlin Park Boys Basketball Aims High
The Champlin Park boys basketball team is aiming high this season.
The Rebels had a bit of a slow start but for a good reason.
Four of their rotation players were on the Champlin Park football team that advanced to the Prep Bowl.
Four starters graduated from last year’s team that lost to Park Center in triple overtime in the Section 5AAAA final.
Jared Walter is the lone returning regular starter, but it’s a talented group coming up.
Players like Francis Nwaokorie, Josh Strong, and Cooper Olson will step into bigger roles for the Rebels.
They are 2-2 heading into Tuesday night’s game against Totino-Grace.
