CCX Sports Spotlight: Sacchi Deshmukh, Wayzata Girls Golf
In this week’s CCX Sports Spotlight, Chaz Mootz profiles Wayzata senior golfer Sacchi Deshmukh.
Ever since she made the varsity team in seventh grade, Deshmukh has been in the Trojans top six lineup.
She’s currently ranked second in the state in the Minnesota Golf Association rankings and Deshmukh finished sixth at the class AAA state tournament last year.
Not only is Deshmukh a great golfer, she’s also a key member of the Wayzata High School orchestra, playing the violin.
An excellent student as well, Sacchi will continue her education at the University of Texas, where she plans to get a degree in chemical engineering.
