CCX Sports Spotlight: Michael Reem, Wayzata Baseball
In this week’s CCX Sports Spotlight, Chaz Mootz profiles Michael Reem, the senior catcher on the Wayzata baseball team.
Reem has been on varsity since his sophomore season and is a big reason why the Trojans have seen the success that they have had this spring.
Behind the plate, Reem has always been proficient and excelled at blocking pitches, but this year he’s also performed well offensively, hitting .385 with 26 RBI’s and three home runs.
After his high school career is over, Reem plans to play baseball and attend the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
