CCX Sports Spotlight: Kevon Johnson, Armstrong Football
Our CCX Sports Spotlight this week shines on Armstrong football standout Kevon Johnson.
The 5’9, 180-pound senior running back rushed for 653 yards and 11 touchdowns in the first three games for the Falcons, all one-sided wins.
Johnson topped 1,500 yards rushing in his junior season to help the Falcons to their second straight appearance in the state class AAAAA playoffs.
Armstrong is hosting Cretin-Derham Hall this Friday (September 20) and St. Thomas Academy next Friday (September 27).
Johnson hopes to play college football and is getting some Division II and Division III interest.
