CCX Sports Spotlight: Jordyn Borsch, Maple Grove Girls Track
Our CCX Sports Spotlight this week shines on Maple Grove track star Jordyn Borsch.
Jay Wilcox profiles the senior sprinter.
Borsch won the 100 and 400 meter races at the state class AAA meet last season and placed third in the 200.
She swept those three races at the Hamline Elite Meet this season and hopes to do the same at the state meet in June.
Making her success more remarkable is the fact that Borsch just came out for track for the first time as a sophomore after playing soccer and hockey growing up.
She will study and run track at Notre Dame next year.
