CCX Sports Spotlight: Jamison and Skylar Gray, Maple Grove Boys VB

This week’s CCX Sports Spotlight shines on the father-daughter coaching duo of Jamison and Skylar Gray.

Jay Wilcox profiles the Grays.

Jamison is the head coach and Skylar an assistant for the Maple Grove boys volleyball team.

Skylar starred at Maple Grove as a player, graduating in 2021.

She went on to play at the University of Minnesota and graduates this month.

Jamison was the head coach of the Maple Grove girls volleyball team for four years and started the boys program in 2019 when it was a club sport.

This is the second season for boys volleyball as a fully sanctioned Minnesota State High School League sport.

Maple Grove entered the weekend with a 7-11 record this spring.
