Breck Boys Soccer Team Falls to Waconia
The Breck boys soccer team fell to Waconia 2-1 in a matchup of two of the top teams in class A.
Breck came in ranked second and Waconia third.
After a scoreless first half, Breck opened the scoring as David Gorman headed in a Ralph Smits corner kick.
A turnover cost Breck as Will Falkman of Waconia intercepted a pass and scored on a partial breakaway.
Sam Schmidt of the Wildcats scored the game-winner as he hooked in a corner kick under the crossbar.
The regular season ends next week.
