Brad Anderson Returns Coaching, Leading Benilde-St. Margaret’s Football
After stepping away from high school football for eight years, former Wayzata head coach Brad Anderson is returning to coaching– now at Benilde-St. Margaret’s.
In 18 years as the head coach at Wayzata, Anderson won three state championships (2005, 2008, 2010).
Now he takes over at Benilde, a year after the Red Knights won the Section 5AAAA championship.
The Red Knights will also have a new quarterback in Prior Lake transfer Peyton Meyers. He’ll have some weapons to throw to in Khalif Brown and Luke Guggenberger.
Defensively, B-SM has one of the top linebacking duos in the state in Chase Brixus and Will Seymour.
The Red Knights will open the regular season at Willmar on August 30th.
