Benilde-St. Margaret’s Football Gears Up for Class AAAA State Tournament
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s football team is all set for the Class AAAA state quarterfinals.
The Red Knights defeated Holy Angels in the Section 5AAAA final to advance to their program’s sixth state tournament appearance.
In addition to their 12-7 win over the Stars, BSM also narrowly defeated SMB by a score of 22-20.
Up next, Benilde-St. Margaret’s (8-3) will face off against the top seed in the north portion of the AAAA bracket and champions of Section 7, Grand Rapids (9-1).
The Thunderhawks and Red Knights will play at Brainerd High School on Thursday, November 6th at 7:00 PM.
