Benilde-St. Margaret’s Girls Basketball Wins Third In a Row with Rout of New Prague
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s girls basketball team won their third consecutive game with a 78-39 rout of New Prague.
It was also senior forward Olivia Olson’s third game back from a hand injury that sidelined her for six weeks.
Olson returned back last week and scored her 2,000 career point. She scored a game-high 24 points vs. New Prague.
Zahara Bishop (17 points) and Pressley Watkins (14) also scored in double-figures for the Red Knights.
B-SM is now 6-5 on the season, but all five of the Red Knight’s losses came against teams that are ranked in the top four in the state in their respected Classes.
The Red Knights are ranked #2 in the state in Class 3A.
