Benilde-St. Margaret’s Girls Basketball Rallies for Quarterfinal Win
After a very slow start that saw them fall behind 22-6, the Benilde-St. Margaret’s girls basketball team rallied for a 64-53 win over DeLaSalle in the state class AAA quarterfinals.
DeLaSalle dominated the early going, and still led by eleven at halftime.
The second half saw Benilde surge into the lead with better defense and better pace on offense.
Junior Michigan commit Olivia Olson had 25 points and 8 rebounds to lead the Red Knights.
Kendall McGee had 19 points and 4 steals for BSM.
The Red Knights are facing Alexandria in the semifinals Thursday afternoon.
