Benilde-St. Margaret’s Football Falls to Orono
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s football team fell to Orono 31-7 Friday night in the season opener.
After Orono’s Aidan Mueller scored a pair of touchdowns, one rushing and one receiving, the Red Knights responded late in the first half.
Jackson Leischow’s hail mary pass found Charlie Hansen for a touchdown in the final seconds of the second quarter to pull BSM within 14-7.
The visiting Spartans out the game away in the second half, pulling away for the 31-7 win.
