Benilde-St. Margaret’s Football Team Advances

The Benilde-St. Margaret’s football team is advancing after a hard-fought win in Section 5AAAA.

In a matchup of the past two state champions in Class AAAA, the Red Knights beat Holy Angels 17-10.

The game was tied at 3-3 at halftime.

Holy Angels went ahead 10-3 through three quarters, but Benilde had two nice drives that led to touchdowns in the fourth quarter.

B-SM now faces Providence Academy in the section semifinals Saturday.
