Benilde-St. Margaret’s Boys Lacrosse Routs Moorhead
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s boys lacrosse team scored the final 14 goals of the night to beat Moorhead 16-1 Tuesday night.
The Red Knights led 2-1 after one quarter and 5-1 at halftime before outscoring the Spuds 11-0 in the second half.
The defending state champion and top-ranked Red Knights are now 9-0 on the season and face New Prague on Thursday before playing unbeaten Chanhassen on Tuesday with the winner of that game almost certainly taking the Metro West Conference title.
