Armstrong Routs Hastings in Homecoming Win
The Armstrong football team bounced back in a big way after suffering their first loss of the season with a rout over Hastings 42-7.
The Falcons came out of the gates in a hurry, scoring 21 points in the first quarter.
Junior quarterback Dawson Franke went 13 of 20 passing for 243 yards and four touchdowns.
Gideon Breker caught two touchdowns while Fitz Freeman and Seth Newbern each caught one receiving touchdown as well.
On the ground Kevon Johnson ran the ball 22 times for 159 yards and one score.
With the win, Armstrong improves to 5-1 on the season and play at Mahtomedi on Friday.
