Armstrong Football Team Set for Section Final
The Armstrong football team is set to play in a section final.
The Falcons face Elk River for the Section 6AAAAA championship Friday night.
Armstrong is 9-0 and ranked second in the state poll in one of the best seasons in program history.
They advanced to the section championship by beating Monticello 28-14 in the semifinals.
Armstrong is getting set to face an Elk River team that’s been in the state playoffs the past three seasons.
The Elks won one championship and finished second once in that span.
The section final is Friday night at St. Michael-Albertville High School.
