Armstrong Football Team Practicing for Possible Fall Season
The Armstrong football team is back on the practice field this week.
Like other teams, the Falcons heard the news that the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) will re-visit the decision to move football to spring.
The MSHSL is expected to vote Monday on whether to play a shortened fall season during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Armstrong had already planned these practices per guidelines issued in August allowing practice time.
The Falcons are coming off one of their best seasons ever, when they went undefeated in the regular season last fall.
That was a very senior dominated team though, so the Falcons will field a much younger lineup this season.
Just when the season will take place is still up in the air, but the Falcons and other local teams will find out soon.
