Armstrong Football Stays Unbeaten with High-Scoring Win
The Armstrong football team improved to 7-0 with a 62-34 win over Mahtomedi Thursday night in Plymouth.
The Falcons scored two touchdowns in the first and second quarters, three in the third and two more in the fourth on a spectacular night offensively.
Kevon Johnson rushed for 178 yards and five touchdowns for Armstrong.
Quarterback Dawson Franke completed 15 of 17 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 113 yards and a touchdown.
The Falcons, rated fifth in class AAAAA, meet fourth-ranked Andover Wednesday. They lost twice to the Huskies last season.
