Armstrong Football Enjoying Great Season
The Armstrong football team is enjoying a great season, one of the best in program history.
The Falcons are 6-0 coming into Friday’s home game against Chanhassen.
Armstrong had to rally from a 14-0 deficit to beat Coon Rapids 35-21 last week.
It was the biggest test they’ve faced so far, and a strong third quarter helped the Falcons stay unbeaten.
Armstrong is rated fourth in Class AAAAA this week.
It’s their first season in that class, the second largest class.
The Falcons should have their best chance in years to reach the state playoffs, although their section is tough.
Third ranked Elk River and ninth ranked Rogers are also in Section 6AAAAA.
