Armstrong, Cooper Set for Football Clash for Section Title
The Armstrong and Cooper football teams are each 7-2 coming into their clash for the Section 5AAAAA championship.
Top seed Armstrong beat St. Louis Park 63-12 in the semifinals.
Second seed Cooper beat Minneapolis Washburn 47-26 in their semifinal game.
Armstrong won the regular season meeting with Cooper 20-14 in double overtime.
The Falcons also beat the Hawks in last season’s section final.
Kickoff is set for 6:00 Friday evening at Armstrong.
