Armstrong Baseball Team Wins Playoff Opener
The Armstrong baseball team won its playoff opener, beating Minneapolis Southwest 6-2 in the Section 6AAAA tournament.
The Lakers scored the first two runs of the game before the Falcons battled back to tie it 2-2.
Bjorn Jensen’s triple to score Jordan Page in the fifth inning gave Armstrong the lead for good.
The Falcons are facing Wayzata in a winner’s bracket game Tuesday afternoon.
