Armstrong Baseball Set for Season
The Armstrong baseball team is eager to get the 2024 season started. They’ll have a young pitching staff but have some key returners to build around.
First baseman/pitcher Dayton Franke, a South Dakota State signee, should be one of the better players in the Northwest Suburban Conference.
His brother Dawson is a solid shortstop, and Harrison Boughton returns as a catcher/infielder. Sammy Schultz leads the pitching returners.
Armstrong’s opener against defending NWSC champion Champlin Park was rescheduled to Friday, if field conditions permit.
