Armstrong Baseball Falls to Blaine
The Armstrong baseball team fell to Blaine 6-0 in a matchup of Northwest Suburban Conference contenders.
The Bengals scored three times in the top of the first inning to take the lead.
They added two more runs in the fifth inning.
Tony Strand and Mac Enlow each went 2-for-4 for the Bengals.
Jack Haring pitched five scoreless innings for the win.
Blaine is in first place in the NWSC by one half game over Anoka.
Colin Spellman took the loss for Armstrong, although the three runs he allowed were unearned.
