Armstrong Baseball Falls at Home to Andover 6-4
In a back-and-forth game from start to finish, the Armstrong baseball team came up short against Andover in a Northwest Suburban Conference match-up, falling by a score of 6-4.
The Huskies started the game hot, scoring three runs, including a solo home run from Drew Law.
The Falcons chipped away throughout the game, earning runs in the first inning on an RBI single from Tanner Rausch and another run-scoring single in the second inning from Luke Weisjahn.
Heading into the seventh, Armstrong was down by three runs. The Falcons scored a run off of a sacrifice fly from Dawson Franke, but that’s as close as they’d get.
Armstrong will be back at home Thursday against Coon Rapids.
