Armstrong and Cooper Set for Football Clash
The Armstrong and Cooper football teams are each 2-0 and ranked in the top ten in the class AAAAA rankings heading into their Thursday night clash at Armstrong.
Armstrong won both meetings decisively last season after years of domination by Cooper in the Robbinsdale District 281 rivalry.
Cooper has wins over Park Center and Minneapolis Southwest this season, and their defense hasn’t been scored on in either game.
Armstrong has scored 42 points in each game of their 2-0 start, beating St. Francis and St. Paul Harding/Humboldt.
