2026 Athena Award Winners Honored

Fifty four high school senior female student-athletes from the greater Minneapolis area were honored Friday at the annual Athena Awards ceremony.

Started in 1973 as a way to honor high school girls following passage of the historic Title IX legislation, each participating high school chooses one senior girl each year to represent their school recognizing their accomplishments in high school athletics.
