2022 Lake Conference Nordic Ski Championships
Frigid temperatures Wednesday morning pushed the start time for the Lake Conference Nordic ski championships back two hours.
That cold didn’t stop the racers from some impressive performances.
The Wayzata boys won the team title, with Daniel McCollor (3rd), Brenden Hyvare (5th) and Daniel Gladkov (10th) cracking the top ten.
Edina’s Andrew DeFor edged Benon Brattebo of Eden Prairie for the boys pursuit title.
Sydney Drevlow of Hopkins won the girls individual pursuit title.
Hopkins and Wayzata tied for second behind Eden Prairie in the girls team standings.
Elsa Bergman of Hopkins placed third and Audrey Parham of Wayzata fourth in the girls pursuit.
