You Betcha: Uffda Donuts Draws Customers to Maple Grove
Every city needs a good bakery. Nothing too fancy, but just something to make people feel happy.
And since October, a new donut shop in Maple Grove has been making customers say, “uffda.”
“Yeah, this is amazing, to even walk in, it’s colorful, it’s bright,” said Tammy Lynch, an Uffda Donuts customer. “The assortment of donuts is huge, and I just did the full dozen.”
Uffda Donuts has a wide variety of flavors for anyone wanting to indulge.

“We kind of have everything, a little bit of everything, for like, everybody [to] enjoy,” said Mary Seng, 36, who owns Uffda Donuts with her husband.
Seng, who’s originally from Cambodia, and her husband, saw a need in Maple Grove where people could enjoy some delicious pastries with a cup of coffee.
‘We love baking’
“My husband and I, well we love baking,” Seng said. “And we love creating new things, for like, everybody to try.”
Their passion for baking benefits everyone with a sweet tooth.
Tammy Lynch, for example, made the trek from Zimmerman just to get her hands on Uffda Donuts, and she got quite the haul.
“So this is my box of love,” Lynch said, as she opened a box filled with a dozen donuts. “That is a display, and I’m taking them home to my elderly parents because she said, ‘pick me up a couple donuts.’ And so that’s what we’re doing, trying them all and giving them out.”
Business has been steady since the shop opened more than a month ago, which is no surprise considering the sheer amount of colorful concoctions on display.
“People really like it a lot,” Seng said. “People love the name of the Uffda, and they love the product that we make here.”
If the first few weeks are any indication, Uffda Donuts will be a bakery with staying power.
“We really appreciate it for all the customer that [are] coming to support us every day when we open the door,” Seng said.
Chocolate-covered donuts with sprinkles are just one of the many selections you’ll find at Uffda Donuts. The shop is located at 13716 Grove Drive in Maple Grove.
